DMZ
A mobile app for trading, discovering and launching Solana memecoins with friends, designed so anyone who can tap can trade.

What it was
DMZ (dmz.fun, first designed under the working name meme.tech) was a mobile-first Solana app for memecoin trading. It combined trading, token discovery and a social layer in one place. You could buy, sell and swap any memecoin in a few taps, pay with a bank account or Apple Pay, and launch your own token for free, all through a smart wallet so no crypto knowledge was needed.
The pitch was "trade together, win together": a social feed of tokens and trends, voice chat rooms, following friends and top traders, plus quests and leaderboards. Behind that sat a DEX that pooled liquidity from the major Solana platforms.

The feed treats every token like a live room. Market cap, the bonding-curve goal and recent buys sit on top of the chart, and the moment a token reaches its goal and bonds is a celebration rather than a status change.

My role
I designed the brand and the product: the identity, the mobile app's trading, discovery, social and token-launch flows, and the design language behind them. The hard part was making a fast, risky, jargon-heavy market feel friendly and simple without hiding what was going on.
