ApeIn
An NFT collection and cross-chain game world, with a gacha system for 3D ape parts and a pipeline that renders randomized 3D NFTs in the browser.
The system
ApeIn was a whole system, not just a collection: the creative concept, the economic model, and the technical execution had to work together.
I designed a gacha-style monetization model in which each ape body part came in material rarities, then built the pipeline to make it real. ApeIn had the first design system to render randomized 3D NFTs in the browser, fed by a Blender asset pipeline that randomized the parts inside the app.
Isle of Motu
ApeIn grew into Isle of Motu, a cross-chain GameFi world with three titles, including Jungle Rumble, a tokenized PVP idle brawler built in Unity.
I had never made a game. I had three months to learn, hire a team, and plan, then six months to build, on a $100K budget. We shipped a full turn-based Unity game.
